The Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris is one of the most recognized sights in Paris. Have you ever heard of Quasimodo, the Hunchback of Notre Dame? In a way, he saved the cathedral; really!

Here is a link to the cathedral's website:

The Arch of Triumph; Napoleon wanted it to be an archway for his troops to return to after they conquered Europe. One conquering army did march through it. The question is, whose army? In the meantime, here is some information on the Arch of Triumph:

What is the most famous temporary structure in Paris? You may think is a trick question, because the answer is the Eiffel Tower. However, it was originally built as a temporary structure for the 1889 World's Fair! It is most beautiful at night, which is when we'll be there to go up to the top. This site has a lot of information about this most famous tower:

Here's a view of the tower at night:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j4cBdiBEyIw&feature=related

When you think of art museums, what name comes first to mind? Did you say the Louvre? Many people do! Want more information? Check out the official site:

Did we mention shopping? At the Galleries Lafayette? Do you have any idea how large a store, full of French fashion, we are talking about here? This site knows!

And that's just Paris! We also head to London. How? By the Eurostar train through the Chunnel. What's Eurostar? http://www.eurostar.com/dynamic/index.jsp
What's the Chunnel? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Channel_Tunnel

When we get to London, what's the best way to see it? Would you believe a ferris wheel? But this isn't just any ferris wheel we're talking about, it's the London Eye. What's that? Check it out here: http://www.londoneye.com/ExploreTheLondonEye/

What's in Windsor England. Well, someone calls it her summer home. Who? The queen, and we'll go there! http://www.royal.gov.uk/TheRoyalResidences/WindsorCastle/WindsorCastle.aspx

Finally, there is Stonehenge. Just how old is it? Who built it? Why did they build it? What is it all about? This site has some of the answers, but you'll have to visit it to really experience Stonehenge: http://www.stonehenge.co.uk/about.php
